  1. Where are you located and what areas do you work with?
    Heavens Portraits is located in the USA and provides services for USA residents.
     

  2. What information do I have to provide about my loved one?
    Whatever information you would like to provide about your loved one as it is helpful when creating a portrait of an individual, to know a little bit about who they were, such as what they enjoyed most, special memories you may have, their personalities, etc... 
     

  3. What do I need to give you? Do you work with photos?
    Yes. We request that you provide whatever photos you are able that reflect your loved one in a way you remember them and in a way they'd like you to remember them.
     

  4. Do you do portraits of living individuals? 
    Yes. However, pricing for commissions of living individuals may be different. If you are interested in commissioning a living portrait, please email TAIsaacson@gmail.com about prices for a living portrait commission.
     

  5. Can I request additional things to be included in the portrait, such as objects or other people? 
    Absolutely, especially if they were special to your loved one. Cost may be affected depending on the request, such as including additional people/animals.
     

  6. What materials do you use?
    Heavens Portraits uses oil paints, typically on stretched canvas.
     

  7. How long does it take?
    There are several variables that affect the time frame of a portrait. Oil paints can take days-weeks to dry (to the touch), depending on temperature, air humidity. Creating a portrait painting, can take days-weeks-month/s, depending on the size, and the complexity of the work, as well as the artist's schedule. Once we receive an order, we will contact you with an estimated time frame.
